This book is a personal memoir written personally by me, Armando Jacox. The Jacox family story is like a rollercoaster ride with the launching pad grounded in a small neighborhood in Juarez, Mexico. The story goes on to tell of his parents traumatic origins in Mexico and how they ran away together to get married and settled in Las Vegas, NV. Growing up in the 80's and 90's in Las Vegas Nevada with the entertainment and gambling industry in the background provides for more colorful and tragic stories ranging from drug overdoses, suburban violence, and legal troubles. As I work through the story I explain how I was able to emerge from the rubble of my own struggles with alcoholism and drug abuse to become a devoted father, husband, and business owner.
